In our journey of Sacred Alignment, we now arrive at the fourth energy center—the Heart Chakra, or Anahata in Sanskrit. Positioned at the center of the chest, the heart chakra is the bridge between the lower, physical chakras and the upper, spiritual ones. It governs our capacity to love, forgive, and connect authentically—with ourselves, others, and the Divine.
When this chakra is in harmony, we feel compassion, joy, and inner peace. When imbalanced, we may feel closed off, overly guarded, or experience grief, loneliness, or resentment. As a clairvoyant healer and teacher, I often see how healing the heart opens the doorway to deeper spiritual awareness, self-acceptance, and profound transformation.

The Energy of the Heart
The Anahata chakra is associated with the color green, the element air, and the sense of touch. It governs the lungs, heart, thymus gland, and circulatory system—all vital to giving and receiving life force.
A balanced heart chakra allows you to:
Express unconditional love
Forgive and let go of past hurts
Maintain healthy emotional boundaries
Experience empathy without becoming overwhelmed
When we nurture this space with awareness and intention, we create room to live more fully from love rather than fear.
A Heart-Centered Practice
Here’s a simple practice you can use to open and align the heart chakra:
Heart Chakra Breath + Affirmation
Sit comfortably with your spine tall.
Place both hands over your heart center.
Close your eyes and begin breathing deeply—inhaling through the nose, exhaling through the mouth.
On each inhale, imagine a soft green light expanding from your heart.
On each exhale, release any tightness or heaviness.
Repeat the affirmation silently or aloud:
“I am open to love. I give and receive with ease.”
Continue for 3–5 minutes.
You may notice a sense of spaciousness, warmth, or emotional release. Let whatever arises be met with compassion.
Meditation for the Heart Center
This powerful Kundalini Yoga practice uses the mantra Sat Kartar to expand heart energy and release emotional blocks.
How to Practice:
Sit in easy pose.
Begin with arms bent, elbows at your sides, palms facing each other at heart level.
As you chant Sat, extend the arms forward, palms face out (offering love).
As you chant Kar, open the arms out to the sides (expanding love).
As you chant Tar, bring the hands back to heart center (receiving love).
Continue this fluid movement with the mantra for 3–11 minutes.
This kriya creates deep heart coherence and helps you embody the flow of love and devotion in every breath.
💫 Sacred Alignment
In my book Sacred Alignment, I explore how each chakra holds a sacred doorway into healing and transformation. The heart is the axis—where the personal and the universal meet. When this center is open, we not only feel connected to others, we reconnect with the truth of who we are.
If your heart has been aching or guarded, this is your invitation to come home to yourself. To soften, release, and let love flow again.
