Understanding Intuition
Intuition thrives when we are relaxed, open, and trusting. It can feel “blocked” when we’re overwhelmed with stress, stuck in overthinking, disconnected from our bodies, or doubting ourselves. Emotional buildup—like fear, grief, or anger—can also cloud the pathways that intuitive messages travel through.
Sometimes, it’s not that your intuition isn’t working; it’s that your energetic channels are cluttered. This makes it harder to hear or feel the guidance that’s always there.
Remember: It's Normal
It’s important to remember that this feeling is normal. It doesn't mean you’ve lost your gift or that you’re doing something wrong. It simply indicates that your energy body needs some gentle tending and reconnection.
Intuition and the Third Eye Energy Center

Your intuition is closely linked to the Third Eye Chakra, which is located between your eyebrows. This energy center, often called the sixth chakra in spiritual traditions, governs inner vision, insight, imagination, and the ability to perceive beyond ordinary sight.
When the third eye is vibrant and balanced, intuitive messages flow naturally. They often appear as gut feelings, images, flashes of knowing, or even subtle physical sensations. However, when this energy center is sluggish or blocked, intuition can seem distant or unclear.
Awakening the Third Eye
One simple way to awaken and strengthen your third eye connection during meditation is to gently bring your awareness to the space between your eyebrows. You can softly tap that area with your fingers or simply close your eyes and focus your attention there. Imagine a point of light or an open gateway.
The more you consciously nourish this center, the stronger your intuitive channels become.
4 Simple Ways to Reawaken Your Intuition
1. Create Quiet Space
Give yourself a few minutes each day to step away from external noise. Turn off your phone, close your eyes, and just breathe. Intuition often speaks in the spaces between our thoughts.
2. Tune Into Your Body
Your body is a powerful intuitive instrument. Try placing your hand on your heart or your lower belly. Ask a simple question like: “What do I need today?” Notice the first feeling, image, or word that arises—no forcing, just receiving.
3. Clear Your Energy Field
When energetic debris builds up, it muffles your intuitive channels. Simple practices like smudging with sage, visualizing a golden sun above you, or taking a salt bath can help clear heavy energy and restore your natural flow.
4. Practice Kirtan Kriya Meditation
Kirtan Kriya is a simple, powerful Kundalini meditation that helps balance the mind and stimulate your intuitive centers. I recommend it to any client that feels blocked.
Here’s how to do it:
Sit comfortably with a straight spine and eyes closed.
Chant the sounds Saa, Taa, Naa, Maa, while touching your thumb to each fingertip in sequence:
- Thumb to index finger (Saa)
- Thumb to middle finger (Taa)
- Thumb to ring finger (Naa)
- Thumb to pinky finger (Maa)
Repeat the sequence, chanting aloud, then whispering, then silently.
Focus your awareness at the third eye as you chant, imagining light radiating from that center.
Practice for 6–12 minutes daily.
There are beautiful versions free on YouTube that you can chant along with.
This simple meditation not only calms the mind, but also stimulates your third eye energy, helping you reawaken your intuitive abilities.
A Personal Reflection on Intuition
There have been times in my own journey—especially during major life transitions—when my intuition felt quieter than usual. At first, I resisted this silence, thinking I had somehow “lost” my inner guidance. However, over time, I realized that intuition, like any relationship, needs space, trust, and care to flourish.
By slowing down, creating space for stillness, and consciously nourishing my third eye center, the connection always returned—often stronger and clearer than before.
If you’re feeling disconnected right now, know that your intuition is still alive within you. It's simply inviting you to listen more deeply, to reconnect more intentionally, and to trust yourself even more.
