And Why I Recommend It to Nearly Every Client
If there’s one question I get asked over and over in my sessions, it’s this:
“What breathwork practice should I be doing?”
Breathwork has become incredibly popular — and for good reason. It’s one of the fastest, most accessible ways to regulate your nervous system, shift your emotional state, and reconnect with your inner clarity. Whether you’re feeling anxious, unfocused, stuck, or simply disconnected from your body, breathwork creates an immediate pathway back to calm and presence.
And you don’t need an hour. You don’t need special equipment. You don’t need experience.
You just need your breath.

Why Breathwork Works!
Science now confirms what ancient traditions have known forever: the breath is the bridge between the body, mind, and energy system. When your breath is shallow, rapid, or constricted, your nervous system stays in a state of hyper-alertness. But when you intentionally slow and deepen your breath, everything begins to shift:
• Stress and anxiety decrease
• The heart rate slows
• The mind becomes clearer
• The body feels grounded
• The energy field expands and softens
This is why I weave breathwork into almost every session — whether we are doing clairvoyant healing, QHHT, intuitive coaching, or Kundalini Yoga. Breath is the first entry point for healing.
Breathwork in Kundalini Yoga
In Kundalini Yoga, breathwork (pranayama) is foundational.
We use specific breathing patterns to:
• Calm and balance the nervous system
• Release stored emotional energy
• Reset the mind
• Strengthen the aura
• Move stagnant energy out of the body
When I began my own healing journey years ago, it was the breathwork practices in Kundalini Yoga that helped reset my nervous system when I felt anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Even today, a few minutes of conscious breathing shifts me instantly.
One of my favorite beginner-friendly practices that I often assign to clients is:
3–7 Minutes of Deep Breath
Just three minutes a day of long, deep breathing (inhale through the nose for 4–6 counts, exhale for 6–8 counts) can completely change your mental and energetic state.
It’s simple. It’s powerful. Anyone can do it.
What Breathwork Practices I Recommend
My clients always want a short list — so here are my go-to recommendations:
1. Wim Hof–Style Breathwork
While I’m not personally certified in Wim Hof, I do recommend his method for clients who want a strong, activating practice with a clear structure. His style is excellent for building resilience, improving focus, and charging the body with oxygen.
2. Kundalini Breathwork Practices
These are my personal favorite for emotional clearing, grounding, and intuitive development. A few I love to start clients with:
• Long Deep Breathing
• Breath of Fire
• 4-Count Box Breath
• Sitali Breath (cooling and calming)
3. Alchemy of Breath
A beautiful, heart-opening breathwork method that blends mindfulness, emotional release, and spiritual awareness. This is wonderful for anyone wanting a gentler but deeply transformative experience.
4. The “One-Minute Reset”
If you do nothing else, do this:
Inhale for 5 seconds, exhale for 5 seconds — for one minute.
It immediately signals safety to the body. Perfect between meetings, before meditation, or when you’re overwhelmed.
How I Use Breathwork With My Clients
Every client session — whether in person or virtual — begins with breath.
Here’s why:
• It calms the mind and prepares the intuitive channel
• It helps release stored emotions so energy work can be more effective
• It grounds the body, making the session deeper and more integrated
• It supports nervous system healing long after the session ends
Breathwork is one of the most powerful self-healing tools I can give my clients, and it’s something you can take into your daily life.
Three minutes a day.
That’s all it takes to begin shifting your energy.
