What You’re Releasing Right Now Is Making Space for What’s Next

There are moments in life when things begin to loosen — beliefs, habits, identities, even emotions that once felt deeply familiar.
This can feel uncomfortable. Disorienting. Sometimes even unsettling.
But here’s the truth I want you to hear gently and clearly:
What you’re releasing right now isn’t a loss — it’s making room for what’s next.
You are standing at a threshold.
The Sacred Space Between What Was and What’s Becoming
In many spiritual traditions, thresholds are considered sacred spaces — moments of transition where the old has not fully left and the new has not fully arrived.
You may notice:
Old stories resurfacing
Emotional waves moving through
A quiet sense that something is completing
This doesn’t mean you’re stuck.
It means your energy is reorganizing to receive something new.
Release creates capacity.
Why Releasing the Old Creates Space for the New
Energy cannot expand when it’s holding onto what’s complete.
When old beliefs, identities, or patterns release, they leave behind open space — and nature always fills open space. This is where new clarity, creativity, and alignment begin to emerge.
You don’t need to know exactly what’s coming next.
You only need to allow the clearing.
Short Kundalini Kriya: Release the Old, Make Room for the New (3 Minutes)
This simple Kundalini-inspired practice supports gentle release while consciously creating space for what’s next.
Posture:
Sit comfortably with a tall spine, either cross-legged or in a chair with feet grounded.
Hands:
Bring your palms together at the heart center.
Eyes:
Closed.
Breath + Awareness (3 minutes):
Inhale slowly through the nose
As you exhale, softly draw the navel in and imagine releasing old energy out of the body
With each exhale, silently affirm:
“I release what is complete.”
With each inhale, affirm:
“I am making space for what’s new.”
Move slowly. No force. Let the breath do the work.
The Doorway Visualization
In my own practice — and in my work with clients — I often use the image of a doorway.
A threshold represents choice, readiness, and trust.
When you consciously close a door, you honor what’s been.
When you open a new one, you step forward without needing every detail.
Sacred Threshold Meditation
Below is a guided meditation I recorded to support this exact transition — closing the old year and opening the doorway to what’s next.
The Sacred Threshold: Closing the Old & Opening the Door to the New
Allow yourself to receive this meditation without trying to “do” anything. The shift happens naturally.
A Gentle Reflection
Ask yourself:
What feels complete in my life right now?
What am I ready to release — even if it once felt important?
What kind of energy do I want to carry through the next doorway?
There is wisdom in this pause.
Walking the Threshold Together
If you’re feeling this moment deeply, Sacred Soul Sessions offer guided experiences to release, reset, and anchor new intentions in a supportive space.
And if you feel called to develop your intuitive awareness more deeply, Sacred Intuition Academy is where you’ll learn how to navigate transitions, trust your inner knowing, and consciously create what comes next.
Release creates space.
Space invites alignment.
Alignment opens the door.
With love and alignment,
Laura
